Dana

Giving dana, the Pali word for "generosity," is an essential Buddhist practice. It is about our capacity to embrace others with compassion and love and to support the spiritual community of practitioners.

We invite our community and supporters to contribute to the Mindful Families of Durham general fund to help us to sustain our mindfulness practices. Please write "general fund" where you are asked to add a note.

Supporting our teachers

Visiting teachers freely offer their teachings to the MFD community, consistent with the ancient Buddhist practice. These free offerings can be sustained through gifts of gratitude and support from the community and those who benefit. If you feel moved to do so, you can offer financial support to our teacher fund. Please write "teacher" where you are asked to add a note.

Mindful Families of Durham is designated as a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt non-profit organization. Your contributions are tax-deductible to the full extent of the law.

It takes time to practice generosity, but being generous is the best use of our time.
